Specialties

Sarah specializes in working with adolescent and young adult clients, as well as those looking to address concerns related to transitional life issues, anxiety, phobias, OCD, and ADHD.

Every therapist brings their own presence, style, and approach to therapy, which is why finding the right fit can make such a meaningful difference. I believe effective therapy begins with a genuine sense of connection, where you feel comfortable enough to be open, honest, and vulnerable while exploring the parts of your life and inner world that need attention.

Many people who find their way to my office are thoughtful, curious adults open to self-reflection. They often function well in many areas of life, yet feel something is missing. From the outside, they may appear stable or “successful,” but internally they experience a sense of disconnection from themselves and uncertainty about what is at the root of these feelings. People often reach this point when the expectations and beliefs they continue to live by no longer align with who they truly are.

In our work together, we begin exploring the stories you carry. These include beliefs, expectations, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and make sense of the world around you.

Many of these patterns began forming earlier in life and once made sense in the context of where you were at the time. Over time, these outdated patterns of thinking and behaving erode trust in your own voice, create pressure to live according to outside expectations, and leave you feeling disconnected from what truly feels right for you.

Part of our work involves identifying and re-evaluating the external influences that have shaped these patterns of thinking anddecision-making. These often include expectations from family, cultural messages, and the identities or roles we take on over time. Together we work to differentiate these influences from your own inner voice, the part of you that reflects your authentic self and what truly matters most to you.

At times we also pay attention to what your body might be signaling. Physical tension, discomfort, or subtle shifts within can sometimes point toward places that need attention, care, or healing.

I approach therapy as a collaborative process. I do not see myself as an expert instructing a student, but rather as someone walking alongside you, listening carefully to your story and helping you explore it with curiosity, compassion, and honesty. Over time, this work can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and a way of living that feels more authentic, wholehearted, and genuinely fulfilling.

I feel grateful to have walked alongside many people in this work and to be trusted with their stories. If your instincts suggest that I may be a good fit for you, I would welcome hearing from you.
