Carrie specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults with anxiety and depression. Additional specialties in working with families with special needs (physical and/or neurodivergent children) and first responders.
Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Illinois. She obtained both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from Aurora University. She has over 20 years of experience working as a social worker in hospital-based settings, crisis intervention, community outreach and school settings. Carrie strives to support her clients and provide a safe environment to help clients grow and provide the needed tools to overcome their obstacles. Carrie’s treatment approach uses a non-judgmental, yet direct approach when needed, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Carrie works with individuals of all ages including children, adolescents and adults. She regularly treats anxiety, depression, crisis intervention. life transitions and family issues. Carrie has a personal interest and specializes in working with individuals and families in the special needs community (physical and/or neurodivergent). As a firefighter's wife, Carie also enjoys working with first responders.
